Games Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains our approach to privacy and data in applicable games developed by us (“Syrupy”).

Our games don’t collect any of your personal information for us, or send any of such information to us, as we don’t need nor want any.

However, our games use third-party services and libraries; which may collect, transmit, and/or use certain data, such as cookies, in order to function. These third-party services and libraries are detailed below.

1. Google AdMob

This game, which is available to download and play free of charge, contains Google AdMob to support the development. Their applicable privacy policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Additional supplemental information/explanation is available at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. For instance (please still refer to their privacy policy, which prevails in any case over the following summary); Google AdMob may collect, transmit, and/or use cookies, advertising identifier, device information (e.g. type, operating system, settings), network information, application version number, and interaction with their services (e.g. ad views or interaction). These are used for Google AdMob to function, and provide better and safer services, including but not limited to preventing ad frauds. Google AdMob may also use them to tailor ads. Their secure data handling procedures, such as use of encryption while data is in transit, and instructions on how to export, update, remove, or delete your data, are also provided in their privacy policy.

If you are in the EU, you also have the choice of opting-in to or opting-out from Google AdMob’s ad tailoring using cookies, advertising identifier, and/or other data, within our games; as required by the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

In California, AdMob’s data processing will be automatically restricted on our games, such that it will only show non-personalized or generic ads, in order to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Additionally; regardless of your location, but if the option is made available to you by Google, advertising settings (including opting-in to or opting-out from ad tailoring/personalization) can also be changed at: https://www.google.com/settings/u/0/ads/authenticated.

2. Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)

The Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) is used in our games, complementing AdMob, in order to determine required consents and collect any required consents for AdMob to operate. The applicable privacy policy can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy. For instance (please still refer to their privacy policy, which prevails in any case over the following summary); the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) may collect, transmit, and/or use cookies, advertising identifier, limited device and network information, application information, interaction with the User Messaging Platform (UMP) form, and consent information. Their secure data handling procedures, such as use of encryption while data is in transit, and instructions on how to export, update, remove, or delete your data, are provided in their privacy policy.

3. Unity

This game is made with Unity, and therefore Unity privacy policy also has to apply to this game – just like any other games that are made with Unity. The Unity privacy policy is available at: https://unity3d.com/legal/privacy-policy. For reference (please still refer to their privacy policy, which prevails in any case over the following summary); Unity may collect some or all of the following: device identifier/Android ID; IP address; country of install (mapped from IP address); device manufacturer, model platform type, the operating system and version; language; CPU information; graphics card type and vendor name; graphics card driver name and version; which graphics API is in use; amount of system and video RAM present; current screen resolution; version of the Unity Editor used to create the game; sensor flags (e.g. device support for gyroscope, touch pressure or accelerometer); application or bundle identification (“app ID”) of the game installed; advertising identifiers; and a checksum of all the data that gets sent to verify that it transmitted correctly (a variety of measures is employed by Unity to safeguard the collection, transmission, and storage of the information). These are used by Unity to administer, troubleshoot, and improve their engine and service. The Unity privacy policy also includes instructions on how to request data deletion, update, or access.

To minimize data collection by Unity to the least possible, our games don’t use Unity Analytics or Unity Ads.

In addition to data collected by third-party services and libraries described above, any information you actively provide/send to us (for example, if you send us an email) will be received, used/processed, and retained as deemed necessary in order to process your request (for example, if you send us an email requesting help), improve our products (for example, if you send us your suggestions), or fulfill any lawful legal request/process/obligation. Regardless, we employ security measures on our end, such as encryption, strict access controls and access logs, while handling such information that you may actively provide/send to us.

By using our games, you acknowledge that you agree to this Privacy Policy and consent to the information collection, storage, disclosure, and use/processing as set forth in this Privacy Policy. For any inquiries, you can reach out to us at syrupygames@gmail.com.
